Kerbside technology company AppyWay has produced a free guide designed to help local authorities reshape travel and behaviours in UK towns and cities.
The guide is a response to the Emergency Active Travel Fund, which is part of the UK government's £2bn package for local authorities across the country to put cycling and walking at the heart of their transport policy. The £225m Emergency Active Travel Fund supports local authorities across England to make rapid but lasting changes to their transport network.
The guide, Reimagining Travel and Public Space Post COVID-19, sets out: the recent changes to Statutory Guidance; how and when to apply for the emergency active travel funding; and how engage the public.
