Protestors caused disruption outside the DfT’s building on Horseferry Road, London on Friday 4 September. The group called on the government to “stop ecocide and stop HS2”. This followed the announcement that construction work on the project was starting. Protestors glued themselves to the glass entrance door and sprayed the words “Smash HS2” on the walls of the DfT building in red paint.
