Collisions fall during lockdown

There has been a 36 per cent drop in collisions on major roads in seven UK cities between April and October compared with the same period last year, according to research by INRIX. 

Vehicle miles travelled (VMT) in the cities – Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Manchester – fell by 33 per cent, said the traffic and parking data and analytics company.
