Concept designs to transform the historic George Street in central Edinburgh have been published by the city council. The east-west street parallelling Princes Street is known for its high end retailing, bars and restaurants.
The £32m revamp will deliver widened pavements, outdoor seating for cafes and restaurants, landscaped spaces for play and relaxation, and a cycling thoroughfare.
