Transport for the North has appointed Atkins to supply data from mobile devices to understand travel on the Major Road Network (MRN). Outputs will include: origin and destination data for traffic using the MRN; the volume of users; vehicle journey times; journey lengths on the MRN; vehicle speeds; journey delay times; and whether vehicles are regular users of the MRN road in question.
