Surrey County Council is to invite residents to monitor HGV weight restrictions on the local road network.
‘HGV Watch’ volunteers will record sightings of vehicles likely to be breaking the rules. They will send the data to the council’s HGV Watch co-ordinator who will check the vehicles against the Government’s online vehicle enquiry service.
