Great Northern and Thameslink commuters who cycle to London’s New Southgate station will find their bike parking facilities transformed when they return to rail travel.
The train operators’ parent company, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), has installed a new shelter with two-tier racks for 18 bikes. For safety and security, the shelter has low-wattage LED light, powered by a 10-square-metre solar panel on the roof.
