Rebecca Harper has left the British Parking Association (BPA), where she was membership engagement manager, to work in the electric vehicle charging sector.

Harper joined the BPA in 2016 as a membership officer, supporting the association’s engagement with members at events and via webinars.

She has moved to Norwegian EV charger manufacturer Easee as its partner success manager.

She said: “I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside a talented bunch of colleagues and surrounded by the truly inspiring and passionate people in the parking sector.

“It really has been a pleasure creating and curating content for events, championing a positive parking experience and supporting the BPA and its members in making the most of all the sector has to offer.

“Parking is no longer seen as just ‘four wheels and a bay’ and now plays an integral role to the future of mobility, sustainable travel and innovation; journey, town & city planning and the evolving data landscape. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for everyone involved. A new and exciting adventure awaits in the EV charging sector and I hope to continue collaborating with you all in new ways in the future.”

Harper received the Young Parking Professional of the Year at the British Parking Awards in 2020.

• The BPA has promoted Alison Tooze to become head of public affairs and policy. Dave Smith is now the BPA’s head of communications and marketing. Julia Jepps has moved from business development to become the BPA’s professional development manager.
