The best (and worst) cities for accessible parking

96% of Worcester's bays are Blue Badge friendly, but just 29% of spaces Newcastle are accessible, says Nationwide Vehicle Contracts

The medieval cathedral city of Worcester is ahead of its time when it comes to providing parking for people with disabilities, with 96% of car parks there offering accessible spaces, a survey suggests.

Epsom is another historical town with forward looking parking provision, as 95% of its car parks there cater for Blue Badge holders, says vehicle leasing company Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, which has compiled an accessible parking index.

Croydon completes the top three with 94% of its car parks...
