Kensington & Chelsea to step up crackdown on noisy drivers

Noisy and nuisance drivers are to be issued with fines across the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea. 

During a trial in Knightsbridge last year, 144 drivers were sent fines after acoustic camera technology captured them racing or revving in Sloane Street and Pont Street.

The council said the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) will be extended on 25 November to enforce against anti-social driving from Kensal Road in North Kensington to the Chelsea Embankment.
