London’s Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) was expanded on 25 October from central London to all areas within the North and South Circular Roads.
The ULEZ – which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week – was launched in April 2019 but previously only covered the same area as the Congestion Charge.
The expanded scheme is designed to help the capital comply with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines for toxic particulate pollution by 2030.
