The government will extend its funding support for Transport for London (TfL) until 4 February, transport secretary Grant Shapps has confirmed.
An extraordinary funding and financing support package was agreed last year between Transport for London and the Department for Transport to support transport services in London and contribute towards TfL’s forecast revenue loss due to reduced passenger numbers using public transport services as a result of the pandemic.
