A trial of driverless cars is to take place on public roads in Milton Keynes. The Fetch system will allow people to order a car through an app. A variety of vehicle types are remotely controlled by an operator and initially a ‘safety driver’ will ride in every vehicle.
Fetch has been developed by Imperium Drive, which is working with Milton Keynes Council to pilot the technology.
