National Rail revenue recovers slower than passenger numbers

Revenue across National Rail operators has not recovered from the pandemic as much as passenger numbers have, new statistics indicate. The network-wide picture contrasts with the situation at Transport for Wales Rail, where passenger journeys were recently reported to be below target but revenue at 95% of pre-pandemic levels (LTT 25 July).
