Welsh Corporate Joint Committees to start on transport plans after hiatus

A long hiatus in regional transport planning in Wales is about to come to an end as the four new Corporate Joint Committees (CJCs) begin their work. However, the preparation of Regional Transport Plans awaits guidance from the Welsh Government, which is currently ensuring that the guidance will reflect this year’s update to the Welsh Transport Appraisal Guidance and the work of the independent panel which has reviewed most Welsh road schemes.
