PA Consulting brings in Hurwitz

Michael Hurwitz has joined PA Consulting as a partner to develop the Future Mobility practice. He was previously at Arrival, an electric vehicle and technology company focused on sustainable manufacturing and zero-emission solutions for cities, where he led the vehicle cycle planning process. Prior to this, Hurwitz was the director of transport innovation at Transport for London, where he led future mobility policy and operations, and work on resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

At the DfT, Michael created and led the UK’s national programmes on low carbon transport, electromobility, and autonomous vehicles.

Hurwitz said: “The need for ingenuity has never been more pressing as we look to build a resilient, greener world for the next generation, and we will be working with businesses to make a real impact - adopting and integrating the best innovations in energy infrastructure, clean and smart mobility the market has to offer.”
