Arriva pulls out of MK ZEBRA project as electric power deal falls through

Arriva has withdrawn from its government-funded Zero Emission Bus Regional Areas (ZEBRA) project in Milton Keynes which would have seen 56 battery-electric buses running in the city, following the investment arrangement to deliver the scheme falling through .

The bid, led by Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC), was one of five funded via the DfT's ZEBRA’s fast-track avenue
