Fastned has opened its 13th ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging station in the UK.
The station, which comprises eight charging bays, has opened in Washington to cater for commuters to and from South Tyneside and Sunderland.
It is located a short drive away from Nissan’s Sunderland plant, which recently hit a milestone of producing 250,000 LEAF EVs.
