Bus operator McGills Group has appointed Alex Hornby as group managing director. He moves from Transdev Blazefield, where he spent eight years as chief executive. The appointment follows McGill’s purchase of the former First Scotland East operation and a growing stake in scheduled coach services on behalf of FlixBus.
