Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is installing a network of 65 sensors which, it says, will enable it to make “data driven decisions” to reduce congestion. The VivaCity AI sensors are designed to capture high accuracy data on vehicle and active travel flows. This data will be used to improve traffic flow and boost active travel initiatives, said Dudley Council.
