England bus funding deal pledged into 2025, with fare cap continued

The Government has addressed widespread concerns at the future of bus services by extending revenue funding for England, outside London, into 2025 to the relief of both operators and local transport authorities who had been campaigning for a long-term support plan for the sector, still suffering from post-pandemic revenue shortfalls.
