01 September 2023

The digitisation of services is something that is happening all around us. The retail, entertainment and travel sectors are increasingly offering customers, audiences and passengers an online, paperless and cashless experience.

The parking sector is also on a journey towards making parking a digital experience for both drivers and the teams managing the kerbside and car parks.

Driving Value through digital transformation is the theme of a webinar which will see the team at parking technology developer Unity5 and invited guests from the public and private sector will discuss how value can be generated through digital innovation and technology forward partners.

Driving value through digital transformation takes place at 10:30am on 7 September.

Local authority parking teams are balancing the need to generate and protect revenue, whilst at the same time delivering a high value of service and delivering evolving traffic management strategies.

The panel will look at how digital payment, permit and enforcement systems can be used to meet the parking needs of residents, businesses and a wide range of stakeholders.

The session will also discuss how digital services can benefit the private parking sector, which is facing its own challenges, such as the UK government’s intention to introduce a new code of practice and appeals service.

Speakers include:

  • Ian Vail, programme manager, London Borough of Camden
  • Alastair Finlayson, general manager, Gemini Parking Solutions
  • Mark Wilson, chief commercial officer Unity5
  • James Hampton, product manager, Unity5
  • Hannah Fuller, head of strategic relationship, Unity5

Driving value through digital transformation is part of the Landor LINKS' Traffic & Parking webinar series.

The session is free to attend.
