Cheshire West and Chester Council has launched the latest publicly-funded Demand Responsive Transit scheme with £1.075 million from the DfT’s Rural Mobility Fund, awarded to it back in March 2021.
It does not seem to have been deterred by the many heavily loss-making DRT schemes introduced and withdrawn around the country over the past three years.
