Cairn Lodge Services on the M74 in Lanarkshire has launched electric vehicle (EV) charging facility powered by hydrogen.
From 12 December EV drivers visiting Cairn Lodge Services will have access to six ultra-rapid EV chargers from SWARCO Smart Charging. The chargers will be powered by green hydrogen until a suitable electrical grid connection is established.
