Science-fiction fans received charge notices after watching Dune: Part 2 because the move exceeded a time limit at a cinema car park in North Wales.
Dune: Part Two is over two-and-three-quarter hours long, not counting the adverts. However, a three-hour limit was recently introduced at the car park serving the Cineworld’s car park in Llandudno Junction.
Under the new parking system people now need to register their cars on a pinpad when entering the cinema to avoid a PCN.
