National Trust says Jersey car park is important to islanders

The National Car Park has recognised the value of retaining a car park on Jersey.

Many islanders want to retain a car park at Greve de Lecq rather than seeing it turned over to nature, according to the head of the National Trust for Jersey.

Chief executive Alan Le Maistre told the BBC that the feeling he had from the correspondence was that the car park is an important element of what the trust offers.
