Hampshire plans withdrawal from Solent Transport to cut costs

Hampshire County Council is set to leave the Solent Transport partnership in a bid to cut costs and remove duplication of work. The other members of Solent Transport – Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton – have urged the county council to remain within the partnership.
