Motorists are being warned of a pay & display machine scam across north Devon car parks.
North Devon Council has received reports of stickers being placed on pay & display machine card readers which claimed the machine was out of order.
In a social media post, external, it said the stickers instructed car park users to make a payment by calling a number which is actually a “scam line” which was illicitly collecting bank information.
