York City Council has approved a Local Transport Strategy (LTS) Implementation Plan, which includes a range of measures including bus priority routes, 20mph limits, and more Blue Badge car parking spaces.

It also includes proposals to trial a sustainable travel neighbourhood, active travel radial route and sustainable travel village.

The plan is separated into short, medium and long-term measures. Short term measures, which would be the first to be consulted on, include:
