The names of a new advisory panel, which will provide advice to the new Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander on strategic considerations for the department's capital portfolio, has been announced.
It will be chaired by WSP Director Rachel Skinner. The panel is working voluntarily and is supported by a secretariat within the DfT. It has no formal legal status and is not set up under the Cabinet Office guidelines for public appointments.
