National Parking Platform loses government funding

Department for Transport says parking sector will now support development and roll-out of payment-by-app platform

The future of the National Parking Platform (NPP) is now under review after a government to withdraw funding.

The Department for Transport said it is working with the parking industry to explore options for taking forward delivery of a national platform. The department says its understands that the sector “is both willing and able to deliver it without taxpayer funding”.
