Global electric vehicle registrations had their best ever January, with registrations from the almost 40 of the world’s largest markets reaching 763,000, up 40,000 on the same on January 2024, and plug-in hybrids hitting 370,000, up 90,000 on the same month last year.
The increases in battery electric registrations were led by the USA (12,000 on January 2024 levels) and Germany (11,750), followed by the UK, with a 7,200 increase.
