The rebuilt A4103 'Roman road' was opened last month. The 2.5km single carriageway road runs from the centre of Hereford at Tillington Road to the A480 at Stretton Sugwas. The road has been built along the same alignment as the old narrow two-lane road. The scheme included the demolition of the railway bridge that carried the former Hereford to Brecon line, closed in the 1960s.
