Go Ahead chief executive Keith Ludeman has led the tributes to his predecessor, Martin Ballinger, who died last week.

He joined Go Ahead’s board in acknowledging the contribution that Ballinger made to the group as one of its founding fathers, and to the UK passenger transport industry. Ballinger remained Go Ahead’s biggest shareholder at the time of his death.
