Great Northern Steam Company has launched the first new Class V/09 Atlantic 442 to be built since the early 1900’s.

To be formally named Olympic 2012 in readiness of the forthcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London, the locomotive was originally built in Darlington and the last was left for main line operation in 1910.
