Cambridgeshire County Council showed off its guided busway scheme to journalists last week ahead of the route opening in “late summer”.

When complete the busway, which, the council says, will be “the longest guided busway in the world”, will link Huntingdon, St Ives and Cambridge and include two new park-and-ride sites at St Ives and Longstanton, providing an alternative for motorists driving into the city along the A14.
