Three out of every five trains on Britain's busiest railway line have been running late despite a £9bn upgrade, the TSSA have claimed.
The Transport Salaried Staffs Association said it had obtained figures showing that punctuality had dropped as low as 39.4% on the West Coast main line between London and Glasgow during April.
