Trade union Unite, which represents engineering, electrical, administrative and management workers employed at London Underground, has announced that it will give LU notice of an industrial action ballot tomorrow.
The action arises from LU’s refusal to move on their pay offer for 2009 and follows Unite’s LUL members’ recent 2 to 1 decision for an industrial action ballot. Unite says that LU's ‘final’ two year offer of 1.5% in the first year and RPI plus 0.5%...
