Go Ahead Group has expanded into East Anglia with the purchase of highly-regarded Konect Bus which won the industry's award for independent bus operator of the year in 2007. Konect Bus operates 45 vehicles on services in Norwich and surrounding towns including park-and-ride contracts in Norwich. It has 44 vehicles, 66 staff and turnover is £3.5m.
