As a Campaign for Better Transport member, I can assure him that the CBT is an environmental lobby group in all its aspects and it is largely due to their efforts that the DfT now includes ‘smart choices’ and environmental issues in transport appraisal – not that this will please Paul because he is a climate sceptic.
