Only Go Ahead makes a modest gain

It was a relatively quiet two weeks on the stock market for our group of transport shares with only Go Ahead making marginal progress.

Go Ahead is the winner this fortnight of the ‘Big Five’, with its stock edging ahead to close 3.64% at 2,194p on the start of the period. This could largely be attributed

to some positive broker support, from which the Newcastle-based group has been making positive noises about the improved financial progress its bus division has

been making.
