I read with interest John Dales’ article on ‘keep left’ bollards (ibid). I, too, have been aware of many incorrect bollards and, although now retired, I have done my best to have errors in my neighbourhood corrected. A particular concern has been incorrect Pass Either Side (Diag 611) bollards at locations where the traffic routes diverge.
I think a further general problem location is exit roads at other than simple junctions. Should there be keep left signs, plain bollards or...
