Suffolk County Council officers are recommending a traditional outsourcing approach to highways services, rather than a joint venture model that had previously been preferred.
The council’s cabinet will meet next week to decide what new highways service model to put in place from April 2013 to replace the current mix of in-house delivery, a consultant and a contractor.
