Stockton on Tees Borough Council has approved a new parking strategy, which seeks to encourage visitors in the borough’s town centres. The strategy looks at improving parking in Stockton, Billingham, Thornaby and Yarm, by providing more long-stay and easier access short-stay parking, as well as adding new pay & display parking.
Billingham town centre will see the introduction of parking controls in council-managed car parks in the town centre.
