Hampshire and Surrey county councils plan to commission a transport and local economic impact model for the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership area, which will help identify investment priorities.
The model, expected to cost £1m to develop, will be similar in concept to the sub-regional transport model commissioned by Transport for South Hampshire for its area. Funding contributions could be sought from the LEP, Highways Agency, Network Rail and other stakeholders.
