National Trust creates a green and pleasant car park

The National Trust has upgraded parking facilities at the Gibside Estate, near Rowlands Gill, Gateshead, as part of a £1.54m improvement project.

The National Trust has improved free parking at the park by providing 350 extra spaces at two car park sites on land previously used by the Forestry Commission to grow commercial timber.
