BYD has announced solutions for electrifying Hong Kong City’s public transport with plans to replace diesel buses and LPG taxis in a bid to reduce Hong Kong’s vehicle emissions by over 50%.
One initiative will see the introduction of BYD e6 pure electric taxis in the region in May of this year with a first batch of 45 and three new charging stations.
