Local authorities and bus operators are scrutinising proposals from the Senior Traffic Commissioner to revise rules for assessing bus service punctuality across Britain.
Historically Traffic Commissioners have stated that they expect 95% of registered services to depart from timing points ‘on time’, which is taken to be up to one minute early and up to five minutes late.
