MVA Consultancy Ltd, one of the UK’s best known transport consulting firms, has been rebranded SYSTRA Ltd, reflecting the name of its French owners.
MVA’s origins were in the 1960s. It originally traded as Martin and Vorhees Associates, reflecting the names of its founder – North American transport planner Alan Vorhees – and the managing director of its UK operation, Brian Martin, the Greater London Council’s chief transport planner.
