Shappi Khorsandi connected immediately with the audience at the British Parking Awards, but seemed to forge a special bond with one member in particular – Essy Eslamian, founder of Total Car Parks, which was short listed in two categories.

During the Best Car Park Operation announcement, Landor LINKS’s event designer Justin Andrew complemented a shot of the Boddingtons car park in Manchester with a pop-up of the smiling Eslamian sitting in his now trademark gold throne.
